CNS*1994 Travel Grants

In past years, support from the National Science Foundation has allowed the meeting organizers to offer some participants funds to attend the meeting.

If support is made available this year, priority will be given to students and postdoctoral fellows who are authors on papers. In past years, support has also been available for others as well. Last year, all requests were able to be honored.

While the total size of grants will depend on the number of requests, last year the following grants were given:

• $200 local (west coast this year)
• $300 middle distance
• $400 distant (east coast, overseas)

If travel grants are available, the necessary forms will be filled out during meeting registration which checks mailed shortly after the end of the meeting.

Interest in travel grants should be indicated in the appropriate location on the registration form. Early registration is advised for this reason.
